Police Authority Lead Members
Hertfordshire Police Authority covers the whole of Hertfordshire. Although its 17 members have a county-wide responsibility, individual ‘Police Authority Lead’ (PAL) members represent the different borough and district council areas. Their role is to represent the Authority in local partnerships, such as the Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership, and to be the local champion for their area.
All PAL members make formal reports to the Police Authority at its Community Engagement Committee meetings to make sure local concerns and initiatives are raised.
