Hertfordshire Police Authority Invites the Public to Comment on Policing Priorities
Hertfordshire Police Authority is currently reviewing its Policing Priorities for 2012/13 and would welcome your views.
The Policy and Planning Committee of Hertfordshire Police Authority met on 9 September to discuss a review of the Hertfordshire Policing Priorities from April 2012. The Committee agreed that the public should have an opportunity to contribute their views on the areas that the Constabulary should focus on in the coming year.
The Chairman of Hertfordshire Police Authority, David Lloyd said “As we manage reductions in funding it is more important than ever that we provide the Constabulary with clear direction. Understanding the issues that are important to our local communities will help us identify priorities, and ensure we are delivering a service that keeps Hertfordshire a safe place to live and work.
The consultation will run until the end of December 2011, and the feedback we receive will be considered when we agree priorities early next year.”
