Crime & Disorder Reduction Partnerships (CDRPs)
The term Crime & Disorder Reduction Partnership (CDRP) is often used by the police but CDRPs are sometimes otherwise known as Community Safety Partnership (CSPs). The purpose of a Community Safety Partnership is to bring together a number of organisations with the aim to reduce crime and disorder in the area. The CDRPs will consist of Hertfordshire Constabulary, the district or borough council, Hertfordshire Fire & Rescue Service, Hertfordshire County Council, the local Primary Care Trust, Hertfordshire Police Authority and others according to local needs.
